The UK’s largest festival for children provides three days of family entertainment, reports LondonTown.com

July 31, 2013, 3:41 pm -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- School's out for the summer and the LolliBop Festival – the big bash for little people – is back. Returning to Regent's Park, the three-day festival (16 th -18 th August) is the UK's largest festival for children and provides a packed to the rafters programme of fun activities for the under 10s. As well as live acts and shows, the event also boasts plenty of interactive entertainment, encouraging kids to play the day away. For families travelling to the festival from outside of the capital, a selection of London hotels for all budgets can be found on LondonTown.com.

LolliBop is split into a number of zones including the Lolli Arena, where there will be performances from the likes of C Beebies Superstar Justin Fletcher, the cool mystery-solving Rastamouse and Da Easy Crew; LolliPalladium, the festival's very own Big Top which welcomes the Diary of a Wimpy Kid show; The Lolli Promenade, an on-site beach resort; and the Discovery Zone, which welcomes the London Science Museum to help kids partake in a number of exciting scientific experiments.

New for 2013 is the Village Green, playing host to the Mr Men and Little Miss Village Fete. Children will be able to meet all their favourite characters such as Mr Strong, Mr Bump, Mr Tickle and Little Miss Sunshine as they host a fete that includes Maypole dancing, games and activities. There will also be dedicated reading hubs to relax with a Mr Men or Little Miss book.

Be sure to keep your children entertained during the school holidays with the help of LondonTown.com's Summer in London for Families article, which details the best child-friendly festivals, concerts and theatre shows.
