Industry: Travel, Entertainment offering discounted London hotels for 02 show
LONDON, June 04, 2014 -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Rock stalwarts the Eagles are bringing their ‘History Of' tour to London with a hotly-anticipated one night stand at the O2 Arena on June 16th. The show will feature original members Glenn Frey and Don Henley trawl their considerable back catalog, interspersing hits such as ‘Desperado' and ‘Witchy Woman' with anecdotes about their long, fruitful career.

The tour has attracted widespread critical acclaim for the intimate approach it takes to the Eagles' canon. Henley and Frey open the show with nothing but a pair of acoustic guitars and stools. The two perform early hits and explain the founding of the band and the introduction of key members. The excitement builds with each addition to the stage: Timothy B. Schmit, a small drum kit, Joe Walsh, a bigger drumkit – so it goes on until the stage is filled with the supporting musicians and lavish sound associated with the Eagles' hitmaking latter 70s heyday.

The live performance is accompanied by video content charting the evolution of the band, and the Eagles do what they do best, bringing the show to a thrilling climax with two encores. For eager British audiences, the £ 50+ ticket prices are well worth it to see bona fide 20 th century rock aristocracy in action.

Many will travel from across the country (and beyond) to see their heroes, and a number of London hotels have teamed up with to offer fans the chance to stay close to the 02 without paying full room rates.

Some of the best hotels in the capital are situated in the Docklands area, close to the arena, and is offering special rates on many of them, exclusively for guests who book through the site.
