LondonTown.com reports on the best parts of this year's City of London Festival
LONDON, June 20, 2014 -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- For three weeks this summer the City of London will be taken over by live music, visual arts, film, walks and talks for the 52nd City of London Festival. The festival takes place at numerous venues across the City, including St Paul's Cathedral, Drapers' Hall and Devonshire Square. Festival goers travelling from outside of London can find a great selection of cheap hotels in London on LondonTown.com.

The festival runs from 22nd June to 12th July and commences with a Festival Service at St Paul's Cathedral. Directed by Andrew Carwood, the Cathedral Choir's Director of Music, the morning service will provide an uplifting start to the three-week programme.

This year's festival pays homage to the former uniform of the City with a giant inflatable Bowler Hat. Located in Paternoster Square, next to St Paul's Cathedral, the pop up venue will host a large percentage of the festival's events, including children's theatre, cabaret, comedy and circus. Highlights include Dogs Don't Do Ballet, brought to life by London's Little Angel Theatre; live comedy from Professional Grumpy Old Woman, Jenny Eclair; a discussion on Smallness with Russell Kane; and Richard Herring's Lord of the Dance Settee.

Visit LondonTown.com for more information on the festival and all of the other best events taking place in London this summer.
