Greenwich museums and galleries unveil their exhibitions programme for next year
LONDON, October 13, 2014 -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Greenwich's Royal Museums has announced its 2015 schedule, which contains numerous intriguing exhibitions and projects at the National Maritime Museum, Cutty Sark, Queen's House and Royal Observatory. Greenwich is one of London's most picturesque areas, as well as one of the most historic. Visitors can chose from numerous museums and galleries, as well as a selection of some of the finest restaurants, bars, shops and hotels in London. Highlights of the 2015 programme include the National Maritime Museum's celebration of Stuart London with Samuel Pepys: Plague, Fire and Revolution (20th November 2015 28th March 2016) as well as the museum's collaboration with the Punchdrunk immersive theatre group, with their family-friendly tour/exhibit Against Captain's Orders: A Journey into the Uncharted (28th March August 2015).

At the Royal Observatory in Greenwich Park, the annual Astronomy Photographer of the Year (September 2015 August 2016) promises to be hugely popular, while the Queen's House gallery presents Unseen: the Lives of Looking by Dryden Goodwin (26 February 2015 26 July 2015), which takes the form of a feature-length film by acclaimed contemporary artist Dryden Goodwin that focuses on three individuals with a particular relationship to looking: a planetary explorer, an ophthalmic surgeon and a human rights lawyer. The solo exhibition will include intensive drawings made during the production of the film, as well as artefacts used by the subjects in their work.

Finally, the Cutty Sark Theatre the unique theatrical space inside the Cutty Sark tea clipper will have a variety of special events, including a Valentine's special on 14 th February featuring live music performed in this remarkable intimate setting.
