Denon MCX8000 is Coming to DJkit, Will Debut at NAMM 2016
Newbury, Berkshire, UK, January 15, 2016 — /EPR NETWORK/ — Top DJ hardware seller will be offering new DJ player and controller in stores soon
Denon is playing it coy for the meantime, but its latest product, the MCX8000, will be making its way to DJkit shelves very soon. The company has confirmed, however, that the device is a standalone DJ player and controller, meaning one that wouldn’t require any computer working alongside it.
Denon has promised more information on the MCX8000 at the 2016 NAMM Show in Anaheim, California, which takes place from 21 January through 24 January, 2016. It’s going to be an exciting event, for sure, and DJkit will be there; till then, anticipation should be heating up ahead of the device’s official release.
No Computer Needed – A Purely Standalone Device for Serato DJ
The Denon MCX8000 is a DJ player and controller that can be used as a standalone device for Serato DJ. For those who are unfamiliar, Serato DJ is a software suite from New Zealand-based company Serato that, according to the company, “delivers all the features and performance to meet the demands of DJs at the top of their game.” It also supports a wide range of hardware devices, including Denon’s previous MCX6000 release, but the new MCX8000 will do the same, working with the latest version of Serato DJ, but with a key difference.
That key difference is that you can use the Denon MCX8000 without any computer, and that should mean instant convenience for professional DJs using the device. Ever dreamed of carrying less gear for your DJ-ing job and not having to lug all that stuff (or drive with it in the back seats) from one club to another? The MCX8000 should help you with that.
Basic Features of the Denon MCX8000
At this point, Denon has preferred to stay mum about the MCX8000’s features until it debuts at Hall A of the Anaheim Convention Center as part of the 2016 NAMM Show. Aside from its being a standalone controller and player for Serato DJ, the MC X8000 boasts of a similar design to the Numark NS7 III and Numark NV, and comes with two large screens and eight performance pads. Based on the press photos, the device comes with four XLR outputs and what appear to be multiple USB ports.
Pricing and availability details have not yet been announced, but DJkit promises to deliver that information the moment Denon confirms the details at NAMM 2016.
DJkit is the UK’s leading DJ equipment retailer, offering an unrivalled range of over 25,000 products and packages for professional musicians and amateurs alike.
