Every state in Australia use speed cameras to enforce the speed limit. Whilst a good radar detector can offer advanced warning on some speed cameras, the problem is radar detectors are illegal to use in all but one Australian state.

That problem has been solved with NavAlert's GPS based Speed Camera and Red Light Camera warning system now available in Australia. It not only warns you when you are approaching a fixed speed or red light camera, but can alert you to school zones (during school hours), accident black spots and dangerous intersections.

The small NavAlert unit has a front LED screen, that displays your current speed in real time, along with voice announcements of impending danger areas. As you approach a fixed red light or speed camera, a warning tone sounds, along with a corresponding voice announcement such as "camera ahead".

Currently the warning sounds within 200 metres proximity to a camera, but future software updates will continue to warn you until your speed falls below the posted limit, at which time the NavAlert automatically mutes itself. All updates can be downloaded from the Internet using the USB cable supplied.

Australian automotive accessories online retailer DelonixRadar.com.au has recently began distributing NavAlert's new GPS speed camera detector Australia wide. It is available for immediate purchase at: http://www.delonixradar.com.au/products/navalert.html

DelonixRadar.com.au CEO Jeremy Morgan says NavAlert's new GPS speed camera detection unit is exactly what Australian drivers need. "It's not about beating the speed camera, it's about being extra careful where speeding is so bad, they're having to install cameras."

All products featured and sold on http://www.delonixradar.com.au are vigorously tested at Delonix to ensure they meet manufacture's claims. "We test each product and video tape the results" says Morgan. "There are a lot of bogus products and bogus claims on the Internet. We won't sell a product that doesn't work as advertised or doesn't suit Australian conditions."

The NavAlert unit is a reasonably priced safety device that can both save lives and save money.
