Australia's biggest on-line Wheel Selector has been launched by JAXQuickfit Tyres.

Bella Vista, NSW, August 05, 2009 -- Customers shopping for new wheels can now make their choice on-line, using the JAXQuickfit website's new portal, which encompasses the most comprehensive database of cars and wheels in the Australian tyre industry.

JAXQuickfit's Wheel Selector includes more than 17,000 make and model car images, together with 5000 individual product lines from 24 different wheel brands, all on-line and ready to be matched.

"Our Wheel Selector will certainly enrich our customers' experience," JAXQuickfit Tyres CEO Jeff Board said.

"Customers can now browse on-line, matching their car with wheel styles they like and quickly identify if they will fit. Alternatively, they can easily and quickly look at the range of wheels available to them, for their specific car."

JAXQuickfit's Wheel Selector is, however, only the first step toward choosing new wheels. Once in-store, customers can use the existing in-store Wheel Web on-line facility to view how the wheel looks on their particular car.

Wheel Web enables customers to select their model of car, change the colour to suit and then see virtually how those wheels look on the car, all at the click of a button. Basically it is a quick and easy way to search for car wheels.

"It's an extremely realistic system, not only can you choose your car and match the colour, but you can even lower it to match how it looks or how you want it to look," Jeff Board explained.

"For customers Wheel Web is a brilliant system that's very easy to use and for our staff it's an invaluable reference.

"If you can't choose new wheels for your car after using the Wheel Selector and Wheel Web, you're not trying!"

JAXQuickfit featured wheel brands include Enkei, Speedy, BBS, OZ-Racing, Prodrive, ROH, Osaka, CSA, Kahn, Advanti, Petrol, ANZ, G.Max, Mandrus, Enix, Destino, Equus, Breyton, Champion and Bayern.

Along with the new Wheel Selector's on-line images of all the wheel styles, there's the information a customer needs on wheel sizes and fitments, plus detailed background information on each wheel brand.

The Wheel Selector can also search by car or utility make and model, or by wheel brand.

Another innovation from JAXQuickfit Tyres, the Wheel Selector is online only after exhaustive testing and development to ensure that the over 38,000 customers per month it serves enjoy the experience.

Now in its 60th year in business with 70 stores nationwide, JAXQuickfit Tyres ( is unique in Australia in representing the six global manufacturing giants of the tyre industry.

This enables it to offer customers the choice of BF Goodrich, Bridgestone, Dunlop, Goodyear, Michelin and Pirelli, a mix of tyre brands that span the premium, major and budget market sectors.
