Iain Glen and Richard McCabe star in Turgenev at the Old Vic.
November 27, 2013, 9:24 am -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Mike Poulton's adaptation of Tugenev's comedy Fortune's Fool receives its West End debut at the Old Vic theatre this month, running from 2 December 2013 to 22 February 2014.

As well as featuring full listing information on this and many other West End shows, website LondonTown.com can also help theatergoers find a London hotel.

Directed by Lucy Bailey, the production stars Iain Glen as Kuzovkin, a penniless gentleman residing in a country estate, and Richard McCabe as Tropatchov, the wealthy neighbour who despises him and who tricks him into drinking too much one lunchtime and revealing some awkward secrets.

Glen is familiar to TV viewers for recent roles in Game of Thrones, Breathless and Downton Abbey while McCabe won an Olivier Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2013 for his portrayal of Harold Wilson in The Audience.

The Old Vic, at 103 The Cut near Waterloo, is currently run by Kevin Spacey and has a rich history of theatrical innovation. Not only were great British actors such as Michael Redgrave, Alec Guinness, Edith Evans, Laurence Olivier, Richard Burton and Judi Dench all part of the Old Vic company, it is also where the National Theatre began.

Booking a London hotel through LondonTown.com allows you to pinpoint the nearest hotels to the theatre, and to find the rooms with the best rates.
